Funding sources for non-profits

Environment Canada’s new funding guide, The Green Source: A Quick Reference to Funding Sources for Environmental Projects by Non-profit Organizations in the Atlantic Provinces, is now available at www.atl.ec.gc.ca/community/resources.html. Updated annually the 115 page resource lists more than 100 sources of assistance for environment-related projects. Indexed by type of sponsor (government, private sector, foundation and non-profit organization), each entry describes what projects the sponsor funds, the maximum amount of funding available and the application deadline.
