CalendarAquaculture Association of CanadaThis organization will meet in Moncton, New Brunswick May 28-31, 2000 to explore the theme, "Aquaculture in the Millennium: Innovation and Sustainability." Conference on Molluscan Shellfish SafetyThis international conference will take place June 19-23, 2000 in Southampton, New York at Southampton College, Long Island University. Topics will include shellfish biology and ecology, impacts of harmful and toxic algae, monitoring and management, aquaculture and harvesting sites, and more. Coastal Zone Canada (CZC) 2000Scheduled to take place in Saint John, New Brunswick September 17-22, 2000, the fourth international conference will address the theme, "Coastal Stewardship: Lessons Learned and the Paths Ahead." Topics will include aboriginal practices, community-based actions, coastal health, and oceans governance. The deadline for submitting papers for CZC 2000 is April 30.
