Gulf of Maine Projects
1997 Marine Protected Areas Project
The Gulf of Maine Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) Project was an international
effort to explore opportunities for a coordinated approach to marine
protection. Both planning tools and bibliographic information were
developed as these conversations unfolded in the late 1990s. The Council
continues to make these resources available for policy and historic
purposes.
