MPAs Bibliography

Introduction

The Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) database is comprised of information related to MPAs from a variety of perspectives. Phase 1 of the database consists of a searchable bibliography containing published and non-published materials on MPAs in the Gulf of Maine region and around the world. The bibliography will enable scientists, managers, resource users, and students to find relevant information by subject and region within the field of marine protection.

How To Use This Bibliography

The MPAs Bibliography is searchable in two ways.

  1. citations are separated into subject headings and by general region. The user may click their mouse on a heading in the table of contents below to quickly move to the desired section;

  2. By selecting the find command in any web browser, the user can conduct word searches (i.e. author, date) through a portion or all of the document. It is important to note that one cite may be found in more than one section.

Adding A Citation

If you want to add a citation or make a change to any part of the Bibliography, simply email your request to info@gulfofmaine.org.
