Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment unveils new five-year action plan December 7, 2011
The Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment released today the 2012–2017 Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment Action Plan, which presents the goals, outcomes and activities that the Council will pursue in its ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance environmental quality in the Gulf of Maine/Bay of Fundy and its watersheds to allow for sustainable resource use.

Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment 2007-2012 Action Plan achieves great results November 28, 2011
New Brunswick Environment Minister, and 2011-12 Chair of the Gulf of Maine Council, Margaret-Ann Blaney announced today the results of the 2007-2012 Gulf of Maine Council’s Action Plan.
The Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment is a Canada/U.S. partnership of government agencies, non-government organizations and business interests which exchange information and engage in long-term planning to protect and enhance the environmental quality in the Gulf of Maine and its watersheds.
