Ocean Frontiers film premieres April 3

On the 20th anniversary of Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, a new documentary, Ocean Frontiers: The Dawn of a New Era in Ocean Stewardship, will premiere in Boston Tuesday, April 3, at 7 pm, at the New England Aquarium, Simons IMAX Theatre.

Ocean Frontiers chronicles the story of collaborative work to move the Boston Harbor shipping lanes to protect endangered whales in Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, and three other ocean stewardship success stories from across the country.

A panel discussion will follow the film with representatives from Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Massport, New England Aquarium Right Whale Research Team and the Conservation Law Foundation. Prior to the film screening visit the IMAX Lobby for the 20th Anniversary Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary Exhibit.  Learn more about this unique marine ecosystem that is located just outside Boston Harbor.
